Collaboration.Good Girls/ Bad Girls Interactive sound stage with KAIROS Dance Theater, 2012.
Using the OpenCV library for Processing, I worked with KAIROS to create an interactive space for improvisation in which dancers' movements and positions trigger sound. The Good Girls/ Bad Girls dance segment was collaboratively created by KAIROS choreogherphers, adult company members, and teen dancers. The work explores teen girls' percpetions of self, social interactions, peer pressure, and bullying. The motion-tracking platform is based on my 2011 installation Dream Sequence.
